Todos tenemos obsesiones, adicciones y fascinaciones por ciertas cosas, aunque pocos son los que se dedican a coleccionar de verdad y guardar un lugar especial en sus cuartos o casas para hacerle homenaje a el objeto o categoría de objetos que les llama tanto la atención. Analida es una de esas personas. Colecciona dispensadores PEZ, patitos de hule, sillas miniatura de diseñador, discos de vinyl, y muchas cosas más! Pero lo que más me impresionó de ella es que trata a su closet también como una colección más. Colecciona Dr. Martens, zapatos vintage, lycras, blusas de sedita, shorts de estampados, cropped tops, bodysuits, lipsticks, anillos, etc. Fue súper divertido ver todo lo que tiene, y en verdad pensé que fuera a tener un closet mucho más masivo porque nunca la veo vestida igual, lo que demuestra que –como me dijo Analida– lo que importa es saber mezclar y combinar bien :)
We’ve all got obsessions, addictions and fascinations for certain things, but few are the ones who actually take the time to truly collect them and separate a special place in their rooms or homes to pay homage to the object or category of objects they are so highly attracted to. Analida just so happens to be one of them. She collects PEZ dispensers, rubber duckies, miniature designer chairs, vinyl records, and tons of more stuff! But what really impressed me was the way she treats her closet just like any other set of collections. She collects Dr. Martens, vintage shoes, bike shorts, silky blouses, printed culotte shorts, printed skirts, cropped tops, bodysuits, lipsticks, rings, and so on. I had a great time seeing all the things she has, though I really thought her closet would be much more massive, since I rarely see her wearing something twice, which just goes to show us that –like Analida said to me– what really matters is how well you mix and match :)
