Honor is a brand I actually discovered through the awesomeness that is RoAndCo, a creative agency founded by creative director Roanne Adams, winner of the Art Director’s Club ADC Young Guns 9 award. Honor is one of their loyal clients. This year, RoAndCo once again designed the invitation for the show and it is just as I would expect it to be, having seen the collection live at their runway during Fashion Week; ornate and trippy, yet ethereal. There was something angelical and peaceful about this Honor girl, clothed in light pastels, lace and sheer fabrics; but there was also something cheeky and playful, bordering the line between innocence and mischief with the candy button appliqués, for example. It could have been a sort of Marie Antoinette meets Alice In Wonderland; where naiveté is lured into experimentation, psychedelia, opulence and grandeur, and everyone gets to keep their heads on.
